There are many applictions that foucs on customer service, marketing, automation, analytics, and application development. According to Wikipedia, Salesforce is at number 6 in Fortune magazine as “100 Best Companies to Work For.” “Salesforce provides customers the ability to track their own cases, includes a social networking plug-in that enables the user to join the conversation about their company on social networking Websites, provides anlytical tools and other services including email alert, Google search, and access to customers’ entitlement and contracts.

The job outlook for Salesforce Administrators is very promising. On both LinkedIn and Indeed.com, there were several job opportunities as a Salesforce Administratior. New Research from IDC shows that “Salesforce and it’s ecosystem of partners and customers are having a tremendous global impact.” IDC predicts that salesforce will create 3.3 million jobs and $859 billion in new business revenues worldwide. right now in the United States, there are 408,760 jobs. The average based salary for a Salesforce administrator is $89,702 and the average salary for Salesforce Developers is $108,089. With all the high paying opportuities, who would look elsewhere?
